🛠 What you'll be working on

Head of People and Culture is one of the most important role for us as it will shape up our culture. Here are few things you will be working on in this role -

  • Cultural champion: Be a champion of our culture. Help the team understand and live our core values through effective programs that promote morale while achieving our company goals.
  • Work closely with every team lead from the hiring need to the job definition until the onboarding process.
  • Rebuild the internal recruitment to optimize for quality and accuracy of hiring, deep dive into different areas of the candidate assessment like purpose, culture fit, soft skills, technical skills, management approach, working style, and communication.
  • Talent acquisition: own and coordinate the hiring process for new team members, scout the best possible candidates for all open roles, ensure the best hiring strategy depending on the role and country.
  • Receive feedback from the team and keep a pulse on cultural issues that may be brewing. Accompany the teams to share good practices in the management of teams, projects, etc.
  • Be the person in charge of optimizing our tools(notion, linear, slack, google workspace) and processes for efficiency and transparency.
  • Create a system and manage quarterly performance bonuses.
  • Organize all People-related documentation (contracts, invoices of external providers, etc.)

☝️ Skills we are looking for:

  • 4+ years minimum of experience in a People role at a startup demonstrated leadership and vision in managing teams and major projects or initiatives.
  • An HR generalist can jump on any problem to solve.
  • A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style.
  • Knowledge of startups’ growth challenges and people growth.
  • Outstanding communication (written/verbal) & organizational skills.
  • Digital proficiency, you like testing new tools and improving processes.

⚙️ Our recruitment process

  1. Introduction: Get on an introductory call with us. We'll talk about your interests, your past experience, our vision of the future, how you can help achieve ours, and how we contribute towards your personal goals.
  2. Take-home assignment: We will share documentation on how certain People & Culture processes currently work at Fold and you would help us understand how we could make them better.
  3. Culture-fit round & Lunch: If all goes well in these rounds, we’ll invite you to our office here in Bangalore. We’ll cover the cost end-to-end. This is something that is of utmost importance to us.

We move fast and are mindful of your time. The entire recruitment process takes less than a week. If all goes well we send an offer within 24 hours post the final step in the process. 🚀
