At Fold, we are rebuilding personal finance and mobile banking from the ground up for India’s internet native citizens.

🛠 What you'll be working on

  • You'll join our small design team. You will create original and visually appealing motion graphics and animations for a variety of projects including marketing materials, social media content, and product demonstrations.
  • You'll own multiple processes end to end, working with the design, product, to solve the biggest problems for our users.
  • You'll help us make the right tradeoffs, taking into consideration design and business limitations, and build a product for the long term with robust and reliable code.
  • You'll create experiences that shape an iconic product. We believe in hiring smart people that pride themselves in good values, their work ethics, and holding great responsibility.
  • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and conceptualize ideas.

💯 You'd fit in if:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Motion Designer or related role.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly After Effects.
  • Strong portfolio of work showcasing a range of motion graphics and animation styles and techniques.
  • We are not big on having degrees but a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Motion design, or related field is a big plus.
  • You can work in teams. You need to be able to collaborate and work with the product, and design teams.
  • You can work within business constraints. You understand how companies work and make the correct tradeoffs between time, speed, and features whenever required. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects at once is a big plus.
  • You love to give back to the community through blogging, mentoring, contributing to open source.

⚙️ Our recruitment process

  1. Introduction: Get on an introductory call with us. We'll talk about your interests, your past experience, our vision of the future, and how you can contribute and help us achieve it.
  2. Take-home exercise: We'll send over an small challenge, which you'll have to complete and send back in 48 hours.
  3. Pair programming: If we like your submission, we'll invite you to an interview with one of our designer, with whom you'll be pair-programming.

We move very fast, and we'll be mindful of your time. All of this will be done within a week, and if all goes well you'll receive a final offer within 24 hours of the pair-programming interview.
